My name is David. I was born and raised here in the Bay Area, I’m 27 years old and currently reside in Oakland. A friend of mine graduated from Ex’pression College and has become very successful since then, this is one of the reasons I chose Ex’pression College. Not only to pursue a bachelors degree in Motion Graphic Design, but also because of my love for art. My inspiration comes from many different things such as architecture, orchestras, fine art, and especially aerosol art. It’s hard to say what i’d like to be doing 10 years from now. The most important for me is becoming a successful free lance designer, with hopes of one day starting my own design company. Aerosol art, also known as graffiti, is definitely my biggest creative influence. I am very hands on, which is why I love drawing and paint my own canvases when I find time. I’ve played with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but i’m still learning. I cant to see where this all takes me.
My name is Nick Carvalho drawing and skateboarding are my main hobbies. I also have a slight addiction to tattooing and getting tattooed. Animation has become a big part of my life and I truly hope to be a part of films later on in life. I hope to graduate Ex’pression college with the right skills to work my way up to a job there one day. But truthfully I would be just as happy working at disneyland every day. Possibly venture into the world of tattooing. My main goal is to do something I love for a living that way it feels like I am never truly working.
My name is Kenneth Macaraig. I’m 23 years old. After a year of graduating from a Bible college located in Oakland, CA, I decided to pursue my Motion Graphic Degree at Ex’pression College for Digital Arts. I’m quite interested in making this documentary because I’m able to not only bring forth awareness for the GGBB but also have a greater perspective of how it feels have a relative that committed suicide. I feel like this is a journey for all us to take as we venture with David about his story.
Hey my name is Charles A.K.A.Big Cheeze .I am a music producer from Richmond, CA. I have produced tracks for such artists as Keak Da Sneak, Erk Tha Jerk, The Mobfigaz, Cousin Fik, Philthy Rich Yukmouth and many local rap artists from the bay area. I produced hip-hop, jazz, soul, r and b, techno and pop music. I have been in the music scene for about 10 years now and have been producing since I was in middle school. My music career and my endless possibilities and talents is what lead me to enroll at Ex’Pression College of Digital Arts. With the knowledge of working with state of the art equipment and my natural gift of expressing myself musically I see myself entering that next level of my career with the right components.10 years from now I would like to be running my own production company that produces theatrical scores hip-hop beats for commercial television and all outlets of media. My Biggest influence growing up was my brother he always pushed me to do music and to get better and better and not to settle and always push the envelope with my music. My brother was killed when I was 19 and since his passing I have continued in the music field and gained things I never thought I would.
