Que Bueno Hombres y Mujeres!?
Welcome to my world. Let me give you a little background about myself, where I come from, ambitions, and how I got to the place I am today. When you meet me, my energy is pure, nurturing, fun and loving. I work diligently to pass on good energy to those around me. I do so through my music, poetry, active listening, and remaining open to all new ideas while showing support. I’m just a multi-ethic San Diego kid making my way through life one day at a time. I come from a family of native indigenous, immigrants and soldiers. I spend my time thinking about the story we tell ourselves versus reality as a person of color in todays’ society. When we take a moment to reflect on our history as America we can blatantly see that the treatment of P.O.C. and other oppressed communities have not reflected ‘Liberty and Justice for All.’ For generations, people have been protesting and igniting conversation addressing issues from Immigration to Sam Sex Marriage to Black Lives Matter. I personally have done my share of protesting and practicing activism pertaining to Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as Occupy. What I hope to do with this blog is inspire people to be the change they wish to see in the world. There is a dramatic difference between peaceful/progressive protest and vandalism.
