Imagine being young and having fun, enjoying your youth. No more High School responsibility! A whole summer before college to kick back and relax. A summer to celebrate the freedom you’ve gained from the American Education system. But then BAM! You get pregnant. I have a story of two friends who have gotten pregnant straight out of high school and are forced to be single mothers to their children. They’ve been through countless struggles without the help of their childrens’ fathers.
I want to show what it’s like for two young single mothers barely about to hit their twenties to raise children on their own.
I would directly interview my two friends Izabella Parker (Concord, CA) and Jessica Cope (Pleasant Hill, CA).
For starters, my name is Julien. I was born on October 28th, 1994 in Norwich, Connecticut, and I’m 2 out of 3 children. I have an older sister, and a younger sister. I was raised in Houston, Texas until I was 17. I then moved to California and started living in the East Bay area. Ever since I was a small child, I wanted to make movies, and now I’m on my way to fulfilling my dream of becoming a successful, well known director.
