Feedback from the class concerning our rough cut:
1. Be sure to name the interviewee’s!
2. Introduce the RYSE center sooner.
3. Brighten up the RYSE, make sure audience acknowledge the protagonist.
4. Careful with transitions/Not too much “black screen”
Okay, like a ship going out to sea, we have titled our project “RYSE: A Local Uprising” Read in to it what you will, this name works on several different levels.
I’m really excited to show our previews today to the rest of our cadre.
I’m working on the info graphic for our final piece (the rough cut is due on Thursday). It’s really reassuring (?) to see how both Andy’s and my style are meshing in order to make this project really work. It’s become something I don’t think either one of us were able to imagine on our own. I guess that is what “synergy” looks like in action. I’ve heard that term for years, (synergy) but never experienced it, tasted it, till now. !!
Andy and I are agreed that the more we examine our Core Concept, that it holds up.
Simply stated it it:
Curing the City’s Cancer by Investing in Youth
